Introduction :
Manufactured by GreenWorks, GPW1501 pressure washer is an electric pressure washer mainly designed for home users. This model is lightweight, compact and the best thing it is affordable. Electric powered pressure washers are not as powerful as the gas-powered ones, but Greenworks GPW1501 is powerful enough to complete almost any household tasks you can think about. In this post, I will discuss in details about its specifications, pros, cons and my final notes on this electric pressure washer.
GreenWorks GPW1501 Features :
-
GPW1501 can deliver 1500 PSI with 1.2 GPM. With this power, you can clean almost anything including patios, driveways, furniture, cars, RVs, Trucks etc. 1500 PSI is a lot of pressure and 1.2 GPM will help you to do the cleaning without wasting too much of water.
-
No need to think about where and how to keep it. You can use it by placing either vertically or horizontally.
-
The length of the power cord is 35 feet. This length is important because it is an electric power washer and you may not have any power outlet near your washing area. Also, you should always keep your power sources away from the ground and water for safety reason. It also has an inline GFCI which makes it usable on all exterior outlet. GFCI or ground fault circuit interrupter saves you against the hazard of ground fault current.
-
The hose length is 20 ft. It comes with one soap applicator. Connect the soap applicator at the top and you can easily apply soap to any surface. The soap applicator fits the spray gun handle and it applies soap automatically. 20-foot hose and 35-foot power cord can give you plenty of reaches to clean items in a large area without relocating the pressure washer.
-
Two quick connect tips are included with the pressure washer: 25 degrees and 40-degree size. You can use the 40-degree tip for soap wash and 25-degree tip for any other wash.
-
The setup is easy. Just connect the water supply garden hose and the high-pressure hose, connect it with a power source and start cleaning. Note that it should be connected to a power supply of 120 volts, 60 Hz AC. Don't connect it on a DC power. I would suggest you go through the manual first before using it for the first time.
-
It is one of the lightest models we have tried. Weighs only 17 lbs. Dimension is around 11.4 x 17.1 x 9.4 inches. It doesn't have any wheels but the top handle makes it easier to move around.
Overall, this machine is good for any home use. It is lightweight and that makes it easier to store safely at any place during winter. The manual explains everything you need to know including the description of each part, how to use, replacement guide etc.
Pros :
GreenWorks GPW1501 is a home power washer intended for light and medium duty works. Use it for cleaning furniture, patios, sidings, driveways, furniture, cars, trucks, RVs, boat etc. The 25-degree and 40-degree tips can be used to clean almost anything you want. The soap applicator bottle can be used to add detergents to the water while cleaning. Use the 40-degree tip with the soap applicator and you can clean light surface items like a car, furniture, window etc. Assemble is easier than you think. The instruction manual is also good. One more thing we love is its 35 feet power cord and 20 feet hose. Overall it gives you a reach of 55 feet to the power source. Overall, we can list down the following pros for GreenWorks GPW1501 :
